Asian Games 2023 Medal Tally After Day 7: Indian athletes have shown excellent performance so far in the 19th Asian Games going on in Hangzhou, China. At the end of the seventh day, India’s total medal count had reached 38 and it is currently ranked fourth in the medal table. Till now India has succeeded in winning 10 gold medals. At present, China is at first place in the medal table, while Japan and Republic of Korea are at second and third place.
India has now won the maximum number of medals in any sport, so it is in shooting. Till now 19 medals have been won in various events. This includes 6 gold, 6 silver and 8 bronze medals. Apart from this, the country has succeeded in winning gold medals in mixed doubles of horse riding, squash, women’s cricket and tennis. India has so far won 10 gold, 14 silver and 14 bronze medals.
If we talk about China, which is at the first position in the medal table, by the end of the seventh day, it had won 216 medals in various events. China has won 114 gold, 68 silver and 34 bronze medals. Japan, in second place, has won a total of 105 medals so far, which includes 28 gold, 38 silver and 39 bronze medals. Republic of South Korea has won 110 medals in third place.
India expects a big increase in medal count on the eighth day
India is expected to see a big increase in the number of medals on the eighth day of the 19th Asian Games. Till now, in various events, India has secured its place in the semi-finals and has also secured a medal. This time India is expected to win at least 100 medals in the Asian Games.
